Nathan inspected our furnace system yesterday. He was on-time, respectful, friendly and did a great job. We now use Sycamore Heating for all our properties.

Sycamore was able to provide same day service for something that seemed like it might be a minor issue, but actually required a lot of work. Nathan figured out what was needed, and then just kept going until he got it done. Our old HVAC system broke over the weekend. I booked an appointment online and Aaron came back to me and confirmed my schedule for a Technician visit. During the visit, Nathan assessed our system and recommended a couple of options that we could choose from. Given that we have a 15-year-old Air Handler, we opted into the option of replacing our Air Handler. Within a day, they replaced our Air Handler and I can confirm that we have a working HVAC again. Thanks to CJ who installed the system in our home.

07 Jan 2022, coldest night of this winter so far and our furnace went out. Called Aaron and he came within 10 minutes. Quickly identified that the igniter is bad, got a replacement and put in. We have heating again.

Aaron is so professional, but what I appreciate is his honesty. He could over charge me, because I was in desperation. But he did not. I gave him tips but Aaron refused to take it even I insist him to take it.

Aaron definitely earn my trust and my business for unit replacement.

For anyone that is facing any sort of HVAC issues, I highly recommend Sycamore Heating and Cooling. We initially used a different local company in the area to fix an issue with our AC, and they were more set on selling us a whole new system rather than fixing the problem. We called Sycamore to get a second opinion, and they fixed our problem at half the price of the other company, and they did not try to sell us a new system. Aaron and Nathan are both professional and courteous. I urge anyone that has an HVAC issue to please consider using these guys!

Today I am happy if a company just meets my expectations. I am elated with Sycamore Heating and Cooling because they far exceeded my expectations! They were professional, courteous, clean, dependable and I can't say enough good about them. Last year they saved me another year on a 32 year old system when another company wanted to sell me a new system. When my old system finally bit the dust last weekend, Aaron fit me in his schedule and he and CJ put me in a beautiful new system at almost half the cost the other company wanted to sell me.

CJ also discovered my Nest thermostat was faulty and recommended I contact their customer service. It was just out of warranty but because I have a lot of Nest and Google products in my home they said they would make an exception if the technician could provide a written diagnosis of the problem. I sent Aaron a text and he responded immediately and send me an email with the diagnosis before I was finished chatting with CS. I forwarded the email to their CS and they said I would have a replacement in 3-5 business day. Aaron saved me the cost of a new Nest Learning thermostat because he responded immediately and also because CJ had communicated the diagnosis with Aaron before he left my house. They work extremely well together.

It feels so good to highly recommend a company that you have so much confidence in. Four occasions now, that I have had the pleasure to work with Sycamore Heating and Cooling. The first time was several years ago when they gave my old unit several more years of life. Each time they have been great so they more than deserve my time to highly recommend them. We first chose Sycamore because we are supporters of local, small businesses. What has kept us coming back was not only Aaron’s knowledge of his trade, but his level of professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness. A few years ago, we were considering replacing our furnace ( a huge $ sign opportunity for most) but Aaron inspected and cleaned the unit and said it would last quite a bit longer.

Fast forward to current day. Our A/C stopped working, so, it had to be replaced. Of course, I called Aaron and he gave us his estimate. In doing my due diligence I contacted an unarmed competitor (they were offering 0% financing). They came out and the 0% was for “premium lines only.” So we asked them to price the identical unit Sycamore quoted. Their price was staggeringly higher. When I asked why, he stated that we were paying for his overhead...NOT!

Additionally, CJ, our tech is the consummate professional. I’m a realtor and have dealt with many HVAC contractors, and in 16 years, NONE can compare! Clearly Aaron “cloned” himself.

My only regret, I can only give him five stars. If you’re in need of ANY HVAC service, you need only make one call.

We just moved to the area and our furnace wouldn't start. Had another company out. They replaced our thermostat and said that we would need a new board, a new motor, and once those repairs were made maybe a new gas valve too. At that point we are halfway to a new system. (You know how this sales pitch goes.) Our neighbor referred us to Aaron. One hour of work and a new gas valve later we are ready for winter.
